It’s not about school or who’s cool or uncool. It’s not about bands with new jams with fans who put up their hands.It’s not about I thought we were in love, we are in love,or broken love. It’s not. It’s about Jesus the one who saved His life for us!

It was a wet day on November 22,2011. It was my birthday. I was sitting in the car observing trees. When my mom suddenly broke the silence. “Victoria we are going to drop your dad off at work and then we will go eat”,my mom said. “Okay”,I said sadly.

When we dropped my dad off at work,mom handed me a present. It was covered with red velvet wrapping paper with a bow on the top.I was speechless, I received a Kindle Fire!

I tried to play on it but my mom said no. We decided to go get pictures at the mall,boy,was I excited!

“Next”, hollered the Elf, I stepped onto the red carpet and hid my Kindle under my jacket. I hope it doesn’t break or turn on in the middle of the picture.

We went home later that day. I ran straight to my room to play on my Kindle. I didn’t know there would be a whole nine yards of apps,but it was worth it. I held the tiny, black, thick box and jumped on my bed until I stopped laughing.For a second I thought I was a psycho maniac.

Then came dinner,I sneaked the Kindle under the table.”Victoria do you have your Kindle”, she asked questionably. “Maybe”,I said with a squeaky voice. We fought over it , it kind of looked like we were playing tug-of-war when all of a sudden. “Splash”, the Kindle fell in the water once and for all.”Well this was the best present”,I said sarcastically. I cleaned it off and left the room.

I enjoyed the Kindle,it is the best present that I have gotten in a long time.I learned that you should obey your parents,because God gave them to you.This gift was an awesome given gift.
