The climate in this region(Mountains and Basins) is usually hot and dry.  It has some flat but mostly hill terrains. The wildlife in this region is antelope,Bighorn sheep,Black bear,Horn toads,and Rattle snakes. The vegetation is Pinon,Agave,and yucca. I think the most interesting fact I learned about my ecoregion is that it is similiar to a desert.
